From Arches National Park out west to the Everglades down south, there’s nothing that draws people together like some good, old fashioned one-on-one time with Mother Nature. New Balance agrees, launching this 2014 “National Parks” pack that celebrates the beauty of America from sea to shining sea, with a series of kicks that reflect the landscape, trails, and oceans that lie in our backyards. NIKE KD 6 “NYC 66″ – TOTAL ORANGE | RELEASE INFO

The “NYC 66″ title of this upcoming Nike KD 6 is a dead giveaway in terms of the shoe’s inspiration: the August 2011 debut of Kevin Durant at New York City’s Rucker Park, in which the OKC All-Star drained nine of eleven threes, on his way to a 66-point scoring barrage. The low-top kicks are rendered in eye-catching orange throughout the Flywire-infused upper and Zoom-equipped midsole, along with hits of contrast armory slate at the Swoosh, KD logo and outsole. AIR JORDAN 4 – “FEAR” | RELEASE DATE

Ready your wallets because the next item from the Jordan Brand is nearing its much-anticipated release. After a couple months of preview shots – including ours here – and build-up, the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” will be hitting stores beginning August 24 in a distinctly tonal black and grey colorway. They’ve definitely picked-up a unique thematic that is not typical for the court-tuned silhouette, but they are actually inspired by the uncertainties that Jordan had while first beginning his rise to greatness before then instilling plenty of the feeling in his opponents as he reached his prime. White overlays and hints of speckles around the midsole complete the look, topped off with a large hangtag. Find more looks below and get ready for this “Stealth Oreo” in just a couple weeks’ time.

Nike LeBron 11 “Parachute Gold”

As audiences prepare for the release of Nike’s eleventh LeBron James silhouette, here we find a new colorway of the anticipated upcoming sneaker. Dubbed the “Parachute Gold” version, this rendition sees the angular sneaker executed with a primarily dark olive upper, and detailed with hints of tonal grey and red. Gold plating makes up the outer layer of the shoe, which divides the upper from the tiffany blue outsole. While the release date for the sneaker has not been officially stated, it’s probably safe to assume the shoe will release with the first round of LeBron 11‘s come October 12. Buyers may look to set aside a budget for the sneaker’s suggested retail price, hinted to be around $200 USD.

AIR JORDAN V “LANEY” – 2013 RELEASE INFO

 

Since the Back-To-School season is upon us, designers at Jordan Brand decided, quite fittingly, to re-release the Air Jordan V “Laney.” As a way to celebrate His Airness Michael Jordan’s path to G.O.A.T., the AJ5 “Laney” features the same Varsity Royal Blue and Varsity Maize Yellow colorway as the Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina, where Jordan excelled in baseball, football, and basketball. Though the design received a tepid reaction from both sneakerheads and Jordan fans when it first launched back in 2000, this 2013 re-release will not suffer the same fate, judging by the early interests. The Air Jordan V “Laney” will be available leading up to the holiday shopping season on November 2nd, 2013.

AIR JORDAN V RETRO – “BEL AIR”

Before Will Smith fought against zombies, explored a post-apocalyptic world, and policed the galaxy’s alien population, he held down Bel Air, often in a pair of an all-red Air Jordan 5′s. As a nod to the classic sitcom, the Jordan Brand has scheduled the release of a Fresh Prince-inspired design that features the colorways seen on the show’s intro and on more than a few pairs of Smith’s Hammer pants. While the upper is a Cool Grey with a Court Purple midsole, a vibrant mixture of pink and neon give the sneaker a very colorful and unique pattern that is sure to stand-out. The inner liner, Jumpman on the tongue and heel, and #23 also pick-up the theme, with the inside decked-out with the same vibrant pattern. Plenty of extra preview photos are after the click, which should be more than enough to entice you to cop when they drop this October. Until then keep chillin’ out, maxin’, and relaxin’.

Air Jordan 5 Retro Women’s Cement/Pink-Raspberry

A fresh new take on the classic Air Jordan 5 silhouette, the latest colorway takes inspiration from World War II Mustang fighter plane, featuring a cement grey upper accented with vibrant pink and purple detailing around the midsole, tongue and collar. Signed off with “23″ detailing at the heel of the shoe, the Cement/Pink-Raspberry colorway will be available at Jordan Brand stockists like Sneaker Politics come August 10 for $115 USD.

Air Jordan 5 Retro “Fear”

The Air Jordan 5 Retro gets a dark color upgrade for the new season in the form of the “Fear” edition release. Created as a part of the larger “Fear” pack, this edition of the shoe is executed with a deep olive upper, contrasted with black around the side panels. The midsole here is colored with a gradient olive, as well as translucent ice blue around the outsole, while red speckled detailing can be found on the signature ‘shark teeth’ design. Look for the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Fear” edition at Flight Club later this month.

AIR JORDAN IV RETRO – GREEN GLOW | RELEASE INFO

Coming on the heels of last month’s Fire Red “Toro” pair, Jordan Brand is set to release the second non-OG colorway of the supremely popular Air Jordan IV in 2013. In anticipation of the August 17th drop, JB has unveiled these official images of the Air Jordan IV “Green Glow,” which showcases the soft seafoam pops of color at the shoe’s eyelets, outsole, Jumpman heel logo and the interior of the tongue. The rest of the build features varying shades of grey across the nubuck upper, combined with black accents and a contrast white midsole. Check out additional beauty shots below, and look for the kicks to launch in stores August 17th.

Reebok is out to prove that new doesn’t necessarily mean better with the re-release of their first-ever Pump-infused cross-trainer, the Pump Pay Dirt.
